This site analysis design tool was developed alongside freyr battery based on their existing factory layouts.
The system helped answer early-stage questions quickly:

Can the site work?
-
What production capacity is realistic?
-
What will the building roughly look like (early conceptual renderings)?
The system made it possible to test many sites quickly and generate grounded feasibility reports.
This allowed the client to compare dozens of potential locations using real design logic and site-based analysis, rather than narrowing options based mainly on the intuition of the designer.

A second generative modeling tool generated options for creating a gradient to break up the mololithic facade.
The system generates a 3d-model, randomizes the thousands of metal panels in real-time, selects the closest accurate colors (RAL) available from the manufacturer, and generates cut-sheets of the elevations.
